I applied online on a thursday. The recruiter contacted me the next day and set me up to interview with hiring managers a week later. I knew i had bombed the interview because all the questions were situational on dealing with upset customers. I fidnt really have that many real life experiences with upset people. I guess its a big part of the job. They called me the next day and let me know they decided to go with someone else. I was bummed but will definately be trying again sometime. Seems like a good company to work for.

Interview
I applied online. A month later someone from the company emailed me and invited me to an open interview. I arrived at the property and they had me fill out a 1 page application. One of the questions on the application is "why do you want to work for Irvine company?" Be prepared to have a pretty decent answer. I interviewed with 2 different people that day; one after the other. The questions are average nothing too difficult. A few days later I got an email from the same person that emailed me the first time saying they were impressed with my interview and would be considering me for future openings.
So I'm confused on how the whole thing works. They were interviewing people but aren't hiring? Apparently it's some sort of new system they are doing.

Received a call from a staffing agency and had an interview the next day. I was asked general questions about myself and what expectations I had from the company. Felt the interview went well and they told me they would let me know if I got the job. I followed up two days later, but was told someone else got the job. I was a little disheartened, but I would definitely apply again.

Interview
I was originally referred to Irvine Company by a good friend to attend one of their open interviews. I did not know what to expect, but I ended up meeting with two managers at the same time. The interview went a lot better than what I was expecting. By the end of the interview the three of us were getting along so well that we ended up talking about interests and hobbies. After leaving the property for about 5 minutes, I received a phone call extending an offer to me.
