I applied through university. I interviewed at J.B. Hunt Transport (Bloomington, IL) in Feb 2017
Interview
Very relaxed process. Met with recruiter at school's career fair, ended up having a brief interview with him the next week (Just your standard interview questions). Then I had a final phone interview with a manager and was offered the job directly after the interview. Said they wanted to hire people early and I would've waited 3 months until the summer to start.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at J.B. Hunt Transport in Oct 2021
Interview
I had a vrtual Interview which lasted roughly an hour. The hiring manager had already familiarized himself with the details of my resume; and was interested more so into extracting character ques from me. I appreciated how openly he shared his experiences with the company & how the operations at his respective location complement the strategic vision of the CEO. I felt as though I had a very personal experience; yet we retained a professional posture while communicating.

There were several leadership style focused questions; & the traditional “walk me through your resume” introduction.
I applied online. I interviewed at J.B. Hunt Transport (Windsor, CT) in Sept 2017
Interview
Phone interview followed by an in-person interview the next week . Make sure that you can pass a hair screen drug test!! The in-person interview was with two men who were very laid back and chill. Not too formal at all. The biggest thing that they want to see is that you're just a normal/coherent person that can hang with everyone else in the office.
I applied through university. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at J.B. Hunt Transport (Richmond, VA) in Feb 2017
Interview
Very professional. The setting was easy-going and non-stressful. I felt nervous at first but that was quickly quelled by the two J.B. Hunt employees. They asked my standard questions about my employment history, school, and anything related to the job. They made sure to tell me the company history and what they expect of managers in training. Nothing about salary or benefits was mentioned during the interview.
