I applied online. I interviewed at J.B. Hunt Transport (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
Well, I applied online, received a phone call from someone in Arkansas to set up a phone interview the following week. Had the phone interview and it was very good. The phone interview was about 45 minutes and the lady on the phone told me exactly what they were looking for and kept asking about my management experience in the military. She kept asking me situational questions as well what I would do to handle them as a manager. She asked about my education and why I had decided to earn a graduate degree. Overall, it was your basic interview. She then said that she was going to submit her interview report and that i was going to get another phone if i was selected for the face to face interview, which I was. There is a 3rd step, which if they call you, they will make you write a report and from there they will see if they give you an offer. I am waiting for that call.

Just a couple of management questions and how i would try to handle them.
I applied online. I interviewed at J.B. Hunt Transport (Chicago, IL) in Dec 2025
Interview
Horrible response, after 1 phone screen and 3 INTERVIEWS ghosted me. Don't bother wasting your time. They will NOT get back to you and only care about people the hire.
Phone interview with a recruiter and then meeting with a hiring manager. Then a long wait for a decision. From application to hearing a final decision has been 45 days.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at J.B. Hunt Transport (Elizabeth, NJ)
Interview
Initial phone screening with recruiter, then an in person interview with operation managers, then a teams interview with the director of the region. I had a positive experience during this process, the phone screening was very basic interview questions. The in person interview was very laid back, they toured me around the facility, told me a lot about the position and then asked me a couple of questions. The call with the director consisted of more situational and in-depth questions.
We're glad you had a positive experience during your interview. We are sorry to hear that you decided not to join our team, but we appreciate you taking the time to share feedback about your interview.
