I had two interviews in person. Back to back first I met the hiring manager and then the store director. It was relatively easy. I dressed in J.Crew clothes and I was very very familiar with the magazine.

Easy, phone call then in-person. You basically just answer personality questions and give basic experience to show you can interact with customers professionally. Then, they will detail what you can expect in terms of pay and work schedule.

What is your previous customer service experience.
I was asked questions about my retail experience and style preferences. Overall it felt pretty casual and I was told on the spot that I would get the job. It was my first retail job (previously worked in food service/was finishing school).
