I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at J. Crew (Lexington, KY) in July 2018
Interview
I was called for an interview at the store and met with the hiring manager. She was friendly and personable and I think I talked too much. I may have been too comfortable and now feel I didn’t keep my answers short and to the point.
How would you handle having to address an issue and have a training moment with an employee who has been here longer than you and may feel they have seniority?
Pretty straightforward, know the brand values, their style and competitors. Have in mind how you would style a customer and the questions you would ask them. Also know your managing style and words to describe it.
Professional and fairly simple. I didn't feel like there were many curve ball questions. It helped that I had previous experience in the position in a different company. At the time, it was a helpful position to accept.

Question 1
(It's been years, but I believe some questions were standard...) How do handle certain situations...
Store interview then regional. In person or phone/zoom. Must make it past first store interview to move on to next. Short in length of time. Typical questions. Friendly demeanor by interviewer.
