      Consultant Interview

      13 Mar 2013
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at J.H. Cohn (New York, NY) in Apr 2009

      Interview

The process was very informal and focused primarily on my credentials. The entire interview process occurred on the phone only. I was offered the job but could not accept. In fact, the hiring manager tried to retructure the offer four times to make it work for me. At the time, I would have liked to work for the company, the only challenge for me was my personal situation needing childcare which made it difficult and not cost-effective for me to commute into NYC.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Really none. The interview was primaily conversational and included discussions that were totally expected.
