I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at JCPenney (Fort Wayne, IN) in July 2011
Interview
There were several people being interviewed for this position, and they got a little backed up at one point because I think I waited for about an hour past my interview time before I actually got interviewed. The guy that gave me my first and second interview was really cool but professional. You could tell that he was serious about his job but had fun doing it. The final interview I got to meet the store manager. She was super nice. The whole process took about 30 minutes. After the interview they offered me the job.

Question 1
Describe a time when you were a part of a team, and someone wasn't doing their fair share of the work. How did you resolve this problem?
Let's say a customer came in and said she was wanting to purchase a gift for her mother for her birthday. How would you go about helping the customer find what she's looking for?
Easy, got hired in 1 week and was able to start as soon as possible. It was a good process and I liked the people I interviewed with. The culture is off to a positive start.
The interview process begins with an initial screening to review qualifications and experience. Selected candidates then participate in one or more interviews with the hiring team, which may include behavioral and role-specific questions. Final candidates may be asked to complete an assessment or meet with senior stakeholders before a hiring decision is made. Candidates are kept informed throughout the process.
