I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at JLR (Whitley, West Midlands, England) in June 2016
Interview
Word of mouth and signing up to a recruitment agency got me the role initially as a contractor. After a couple of years I converted to a permanent contract of the same role. Both times the interview was as follows.
Often held with two members of current staff. The manager of the role and either an existing Lead Engineer member of the team or another manager in that department.
Sequence of questions testing technical knowledge, problem solving skills and business behaviours.
