I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (Amityville, NY) in July 2011
Interview
I looked for the job and the chase website and applied to many teller positions in the long island area and submitted my resume and cover letter. I also did a math skills test online. I did not take long for someone to contact me from recruiting. They did a quick interview over the phone and then set up an interview with the Branch manager about two weeks later. The branch manager asked a lot of questions about previous cash handling experience and customer service experience. I was offered a position after the interview.

Question 1
What was most difficult for you at your previous job?
The interviewer asks a bunch of situational questions that try to test your critical thinking skills, but it's a challenge especially if you don't have much on the job experience.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when... you had a difficult customer service experience
Straightforward. Calm. Very congenial. Nice people smart and honest. Would definitely consider working here given the caliber of talent. Quantitative questions werent too difficult. Just some math like addition subtraction multiplication division and quadratic equations.
