I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (Bend, OR) in Mar 2010
Interview
I applied online, took the assessment, and then heard from the recruiter a couple of days later. She did a phone screening, and then said she would pass my information along to the branch manager. The branch manager called me within an hour, and set up an interview for the following week.
The in-person interview included the managers from two different branches. They were both very relaxed and friendly, and although the interview was clearly scripted, they were more than willing to go off script when necessary and talk like normal human beings. Overall I found the experience very comfortable, and I got the impression that I would enjoy working there. I haven't heard back yet, but I am fairly confident that they will offer me a position, based on the way they were talking up the company and the position and that they were talking to me as if I were already working there.
