I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (Houston, TX) in May 2009
Interview
Finding an opening is very similar to other firms. Search for job title and location. Once Desired position is found, you have to set up the standard personal info profile, post a resume, and take an online personality assesement.
The next step is a phone call from a recruiting officer. This call requires no preparation and really just confirms the information on your profile, ecruiter gives a breif description of the position and offers to answer any questions you may have.
The recuiter will then ask you to complete an online skills assesemnt. Pretty simple financial calculations test, if you have a lot of experience it is a breeze and you will only need some scratch paper or a basic function calculator. Be prepared for 30 mins to 1 and a half hours on this.
If all goes well with the first three steps, you will be asked to do an in person interview with a branch manager. Best case scenario, this will be your future manager. This is a pretty typical interview consisting of many of the following questions: What if? Tell me about a time? If this happened what would you do? What are your expectations?
If the manager likes you and what you have to say, He/She will recomend you to the District manager for hiring.
Next interview is a face to face with the district manager. this interview looks exactly like the interview with branch manager.
Last step is a phone interview with the investment manager for the district. This interview is more of a formal introduction than an interview. This is the person who will sponsor you for Licensing....
If you make it through all of the above, you will receive an offer letter in an e-mail.

Remote telephone interview, 2 in person interviews and then a panel of 3 people where I had to do a presentation. That was it, but I need to write 30 words.
