I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at JRA Architecture (Louisville, KY) in July 2018
Interview
I reached out to JRA online and sent them my resume to inquire for a job as a Graduate Architect. They were interested so we set up an in-person interview by email. I met with two principals to discuss my experience and the position they had open. They were very respectful and professional, and I returned for one more interview, after which they gave me a competitive offer. I strongly considered it, and I believe working for JRA would have been great, but I decided to take an offer from a different company who was looking for a position that I was more interested in. While I had to initiate and push the process along, it was simple, professional, and a good experience.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at JRA Architecture (Indianapolis, IN) in Feb 2009
Interview
I sent JRA my resume and portfolio on a blind chance that they were hiring. After a brief phone conversation the principal asked if I would come in for a face to face interview. The interview was attended by the two leading architects in the firm and myself. The interview consisted of questions about my qualifications for the position and how I thought I could be an asset to the firm and why.
