I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at JVM Lending (Boston, MA) in Mar 2018
Interview
The process is awesome. All the questions are extremely interesting and they are more interested in having a conversation with you than sticking to a standard script. I'm from Boston, so I had 1 phone interview, and fun critical thinking test, and 2 panel video interviews. I got to meet a ton of different people and really get a feel for what JVM stands for. If I had any recommendations it would be to be positive, be yourself, and be honest. They seemed like they really cared about who I was and where I came from which was a nice change from most of my other interviews.
I just finished my final round with them, so I'll be hearing back in 48 hours. Another awesome component about the company is that they do have a fast turn around and don't just leave wondering for weeks on end.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at JVM Lending in July 2025
Interview
Applied online and got a request for a recruiter screen. The recruiter screen was pretty standard; they then sent a link to a 1-hour-long assessment that asked brain teasers and behavioral questions. I thought this was pretty silly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Are you comfortable working in a client-facing role and working with data?
Had one interview over the phone. I was then asked to do an online test to 'test' my character. Never received results of the test, and never got a follow back call or email.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself. What kind of worker would you say you are?
15 minute phone interview, DISC assessment, 1 hour test, in person interview. Very friendly people who are easy to talk to. Interview questions were fun and felt like they really care about you as a person.
