A leadership representative from this company reached out to me several times across personal and public channels requesting an interview. I obliged and even met them on the weekend. What followed were several conversations about the nature of the work that I do/how my role is typically structured, 2 more interviews, and requests for a deck containing my "pitch" (industry insight). Then, radio silence over email for several weeks, until I pushed for a response and received a canned response rejection with no additional feedback or information. This was exploitative, a waste of time, and essentially left me feeling tricked into having given significant free consulting. Be really mindful about any interactions with this company.
