I received an email from a recruiter to schedule a phone interview. During the phone interview, I was led to believe that I had a strong chance of securing the job. They mentioned that they would follow up to arrange a panel interview and even discussed the salary and training start date. Unfortunately, the next day, I received an email stating that Jabra Hearing decided not to move forward with my candidacy for the Customer Support Coordinator position.
I recall feeling quite uncomfortable when the recruiter asked about the timeline of my previous jobs, as I was concerned it might reveal my age. I didn't want to be discriminated against because of my age. While I can't be certain that this was the reason I wasn't hired, it does make me wonder.
