I applied online. I interviewed at Jane Street in Mar 2022
Interview
I applied for the position in HK. Basically, the online test was fundamental but required fast thinking and high accuracy. You can find the questions online and practice in advance.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
some probability questions and basic stats models.
Easy first round, they time how many questions you can get right and move you through the stages based on that. I only got through the initial assessment, which was extremely hard but I managed to do well. My resume also passed through but I'm from UT Austin so they definitely recruit other than just Harvard and Stanford.

Question 1
Statistics Questions and Probabilities. They build more questions on top of the previous questions by adding more caveats and details.
Very difficult, nice location in London, a good trip
People are very nice but demanding and the interview ended very briefly
After applying next year got immediately rejected on CV screening, so I think that the cooldown period is real
Only made 2 rounds, pure problem-solving/ brainteaser interview. Very little / no behaviourals. Interviewer was friendly, but got straight into the brainteaser questions. Very quick to respond when passing to next round, slow response for rejection.
