I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Jayne Agency
Interview
Terribly unprofessional.
Then they made me an offer and rescinded it because I asked if I would have the ability to work from home... ASKED. They hit me up with an email full of legal jargon saying they couldn't accommodate my needs trying to cover their behinds clearly. What a blessing in disguise I would have been miserable working with that nutcase of an owner. Note to applicants: don't try to negotiate your terms of employment or they will rescind your offer. Also they should take their '100% inclusive' tagline off of their website because that's 100% untrue.
I hadn't heard a lot about Jayne before, so I was already a tad skeptical before the interview. I was only there for about 30 minutes and could already sense the lack of professionalism. First off, the person who interviewed me came in wearing yoga pants and a t shirt... I work for a larger, more well-known marketing agency now, and they would never do this, even if they're just interviewing a potential intern. When she came in looking like that, I knew right off the bat that she had zero interest in me, and the next 30-minutes or so were about to be a waste of my time. She asked very strange questions for an internship position, and also was talking poorly about some of their clients (huge red flag). At the end of it all, I was told in person and via email that they would email me next week with a follow up... no email. Never heard from any of them.
