      Declined offer

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at JeffreyM Consulting (Seattle, WA)

      Interview

The interview process was quick and straightforward. The recruiter I worked with wasn't a very good communicator, which made the process extremely frustrating, and I ended up interviewing for a different position than the one I applied for. I did appreciate the quick turn around - I was interviewed and given an offer in under two weeks.

      Social Media Manager Interview

      2 Nov 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Chicago, IL
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at JeffreyM Consulting (Chicago, IL) in Sept 2016

      Interview

The process moved pretty quickly with a very fast turnaround. A company recruiter reached out via email to let me know who the client was (McDonald's) and the salary range. She wanted to know if this was okay before proceeding with the interview process. The first round was a phone interview. It was definitely a two way street with basic questions. She told me about the company and what the role would entail and asked about my background and experience. Most of that info came directly off of my resume. No trick questions. Round two was a social media test in which you responded to tweets on brand. Round 3 was an on-site interview with two employees. More questions about experience and how you work with a team, why you're interested in social media and this role, etc. etc. They're really looking to see if you're a good fit both experience wise, but also if you'd be happy on the team.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Do you have any questions? Including this because they probed for questions a lot and it's good to have some on hand so that you're not sitting there awkwardly.
