It was casual with an emphasis on how well you align to their values and ensuring that you would be a great fit for their communities. You explain our background and why would be able to provide support to the site locations of interest.

How have you approached service and social justice?

Interview
After I submitted an online application, I spoke with a former JV on the phone for a mutual discernment call. I would say about half of the time was spent answering her questions, and the other half I asked her questions about her experience. Nothing too formal, mostly just about my interests in the program, and maybe a few about how I resonated with the core values.
