      Marketing Interview

      22 Jan 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Jet black

      Interview

The recruiter was very pleasant and encouraging, however slightly disorganized because the phone call with the hiring manager started off on the wrong foot due to conflicting instructions to both parties. The hiring manager gave a bad first impression - cold and distant, abrupt questions, inability to maintain a natural conversation. After the call ended, I decided that I did not want to work for the hiring manager because I got a sense that this was someone who was aloof, hands-off, and would not be a good mentor.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Most of the questions were phishing questions, indicating that the hiring manager either is out of touch with current best practices or was collecting information as a baseline for other candidates.
