I applied for the position of Data Engineer and was initially excited about the opportunity to interview with JetBrains. Unfortunately, the interview process turned out to be extremely disorganized and disappointing. • The HR representative missed the scheduled meeting without any prior notice. • I sent a follow-up email about 10 minutes into the meeting asking wether everything was still on - no response • I was later told that I was the one who didn’t attend — despite being present and waiting in the meeting room. • I provided clear availability for a reschedule (before 11 AM), but the next invite was sent for 12 PM, without any confirmation from me. • Once again, no one showed up to the meeting. There was no real accountability, no apology, and overall a complete lack of respect for my time. If the interview process is this careless, it raises serious concerns about internal communication and company culture.
