I applied in-person. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Jimmy John's (Overland Park, KS) in June 2011
Interview
It took them a few weeks to call, when I went in for my first "interview" I sat down with the manager and he showed me a packet/told me about the dress code, sexual harassment policy, etc. It took maybe 10 minutes. The next "interview" I wrote down my tax information and started the next week. They didn't ask me any questions or really care. My Jimmy johns will hire almost anyone when they’re desperate enough; it mostly ends in people not lasting very long. It's a very easy job to get, they mostly decide if they want you from your application.
