I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Job Duck in July 2025
Interview
The process was very fast, unlike some reviews I read. Their AI implementation in the recruiting process makes it convenient and more efficient. However, the 20-minute interview was the worst interview ever! There was a lady who was very mean and had an overall negative attitude the entire time. Her tone of voice was awful, and she seemed unprofessional in general. I was not considered for the position I applied for, which I understand, but they do not let the applicant know this beforehand. It was very noticeable that the recruiter had not read my application or documentation before the interview. When she asked the typical question, ‘When would you be able to start if hired?’ I replied, ‘In August.’ She then asked if I was currently working, and I told her no. After that, she rudely asked why it would take me a month to start. I explained that I had moved from another country and needed to take care of some things before starting, but she showed zero understanding of the situation. Honestly, even regular call centers have tried to make a better first impression than this company. If that’s how the internal team is, I can’t imagine what the clients are like!

Question 1
What is a professional achievement that you have accomplished?
I was disappointed that it was a one way interview. The questions were not difficult but they hardly focused on the job. They took about two to three weeks to respond to my application and sent a link for the interview but it seems like a trial run of some sort, maybe they do not want to waste their time and the first "interview" helps them to select the most suitable candidate for a proper interview.
