Recruiter -> hiring manager -> team
The recruiter was fine. The hiring manager was condescending and unaware of the nature of the work. The pay was also very low for the position and region in question. There were hints throughout the interview that this position had no real job security.

After a lovely set of phone and email interviews with their HR department I was interviewed by the heads of Various parts of their programming staff.
As such the questions I was asked may not be universal
