I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Journeyage (Phoenix, AZ) in Aug 2020
Interview
This was the smoothest interview process that I have ever been a part of. From start to finish, the communication was impeccable and the questions were very fair: they tested a wide range of knowledge and skill areas as opposed to very specific and arbitrary tech factoids. In addition to this, one thing I loved was that they really talked the talk in terms of 'culture first' and made it clear that this was their number one priority. As a side-effect of this, it also meant that the technical assignment was given as one of the very last stages in the interview, meaning that I didn't have to potentially invest a ton of hours of my time in a company that might not be interested further down the line. This was a huge bonus! Finally, it was clear from talking to various members of the team during the interview process that every single person cared about the team and enjoyed working here. Hands down the best interviewing experiences I've ever had.

I applied online. I interviewed at Journeyage (Phoenix, AZ) in July 2021
Interview
Simple, straight-forward, genuine, refreshing.
After application, received video with some general behavioral questions that I answered via audio recording.
Then, had 2 separate direct zoom interviews, mix of technical questions and behavioral.
Was then given a take home assessment which is common for these types of positions, instructions were clear. Submitted code assessment and was given ample time, some criticism was received, which was clear and understandable.
Was informed within a few days I was not selected, overall the process was above average. I understand their decision and have no complaints.
