I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Journeys (Tacoma, WA) in Oct 2018
Interview
I got there a few minutes early but the manager asked me and the two other girls that were there to please take a seat and wait for the others to show up and for her to print out the interview questions. we waited but no one else came. She took us three to the food court and we had our group interview. The manager and assistant manager lead the group interview. The manager didn't seem prepared to interview that day. She looked messy and her hair was thrown up in a bun, where as the assistant manager was dressed nice and was put together. Throughout the interview the managers were cursing occasionally and that bothered me because they should have acted professionally while interviewing. They seemed more interested in the answers that the other two girls gave and they seemed to connect with them better overall. At the end the manager said she didn't know how long it would take her to get back to us.
Group interview ; asked questions ; told about ourselves; showed us store ; goals and how motivated; asked if we knew the shoes that were sold; asked about our style
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Journeys (Raleigh, NC) in June 2021
Interview
Easy, chill, nothing to overthink. Just general questions about you and your interests. For me, it was more like a conversation. Very simple, dress casual. the company prides itself on self expression.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Journeys (Lake Grove, NY) in June 2020

It was interesting, due to COVID we had our interview via FaceTime. The managers were really understanding and relaxed! Overall a good experience and I enjoyed talking to them. 100% recommend
