There were multiple people being interview at this same time. We all did 2 rounds of phone interviews, an in-person scenario based interview, as well as called our references. After, completing all those steps and even calling references, the company decided not to chose any of us. This could have been decided in way less rounds and saved everyone time and energy. Sadly, the CEO is not an educator but has been in schools through city-year. He does not have a degree in education and background is in fundraising. Leading the most vulnerable and struggling readers as a CEO without a degree in education is a disservice to those students.
