I applied online. I interviewed at Juni Learning in May 2023
Interview
They send you the materials beforehand to prepare. You walk the interviewer through the activities as if they were the student. The interviewer will ask questions to replicate a student's question. During mine they asked what is an angle.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
If a student is struggling to understand a concept how would you break it down?
2 rounds of interviews. The first is behavioral, asking how you would handle children and the second is a demonstration of how you would teach a child. The lesson topic and platform is given so you can familiarize yourself with the content beforehand and practice.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you handle a child who isn't willing to answer the question/continue the lesson?
One zoom interview where I had to explain how I would explain to a student what is a for loop. Some standard behavioral questions too. Not a lot of emphasis on coding.
Complete two mock lessons where the interviewer pretends to be the student and the applicant pretends to be the instructor. Depending on the what the role is the mock lessons differ.
