I applied through the company website, and received an email a week later from HR asking to setup a 30 minutes phone interview with the Business Intelligence Manager. ​After several back and forth with HR, we agreed with the interview date. The interview was a quick intro about the company, my interest in Justworks, and an easy SQL test. A week later, I received another email from HR confirming the on-site interview. This was conducted by three employees. The first interview was with a manager which was more interested in the "cultural fit" of the candidate rather on his qualifications. Since his questions were leading to nowhere, and his emphasis on my "years of experience" I figured the worst. The next two interviews only confirmed my belief. The second interview was with one the BI team members. Her condescending tone and the way she conducted the Q&A, which was jumping question after question as fast as she could, showing not interested at all just helped me to realize that the decision was already made before interview. The last interview was a Python review. It was done by one of the Engineering team members. He showed me an Python code and asked me to explain how it works. I went through the whole code, but I couldn't explain some of the formulas (growth, etc) in the code. Overall, don't waste your time on this company. Don't get fooled by their good reviews and the "best place to work in 2017" slogan. This is just a typical startup where skills or experience don't matter, only if you have the proper "cultural fit" which everybody knows is just another form of discrimination.

Interview Process was quite long and repetitive. First, there is an HR screen and an interview with your manager. Then a Technical assessment followed by interviews with team members. Then there is an interview with people you will work closely with and then a final HR interview. Everyone was very nice though.
