KB Home Web Developer interview questions

I met with someone from marketing and another person that deals with tech. I was there for a tech position, not management or lead, it was short term. For whatever reason they kept asking me questions that a manager would deal with not a developer. Maybe because they were not very technical they reflected upon what they knew and asked those questions. But it was very strange to be asked so many questions unrelated to technology when applying for a technology position.
