      Accounts Receivable Specialist Interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at KIND (New York, NY) in July 2017

      Interview

The HR recruiter reached out to me to apply to a position that is very similar to my current role. She explained that it was relatively a new position and they wanted someone with experience to develop the role. I thought it would have been a fantastic opportunity to make the move to help the growing company to achieve its goals. The recruiter was not so kind as I thought she would be. It turns out she was simply looking for someone that matches a formula of whom they really like as a person, instead of looking at the qualifications, education, and the futuristic goals of the candidate. She mentioned that she would call me back after a week because they already have candidates being interviewed. Right there, I knew that was a lie because it does not take a week to give me a call back to schedule a face-to-face interview. Its been two weeks, and no call back. In addition, she did not even bother asking if I had any questions at the end of the phone screening.

Thanks for your interest in joining our team and we’re sorry to hear about your experience. We always interview against cultural values and technical skills because both are important to us. You should have received feedback by the estimated date, and we’re embarrassed it didn’t happen in this case. We’ll raise your concerns with the team, as we continue to make improvements to our candidate experience. – KIND HR
