Simple and fairly easy interview process. We each had to do a presentation on topic of our choice with some technical and competency based questions specific to the role and previous qualifications.
One screening call, a quick tour to the lab, and a 1.5 hour technical interview. During the phone interview it was mostly to discuss a gap in my resume. The interview was on cute.

Basic electrical engineering questions and a behavioral question
I applied online. I interviewed at KLA (Singapore) in June 2026
Interview
Prepare slides on self introduction and previous projects. On site questions about drawings and simulation. Interviewer does not seem to care whether you understand the engineering principles. It was weird that they picked out the pettiest detail in my drawings as if it mattered and told me to revise. I guess KLA is very corporate and that was personal.
When I checked in with the receptionist, she told me that the interviewer I'm meeting with "always use" those rooms. There was a Glassdoor review long time ago on the same position. Something is not right.
It was a very unpleasant experience talking to the interviewer. I could tell that he lied multiple times about his own title, the custom engineering system to host data and so on, and he has a weird attitude. The job post that he wrote was not accurate either.
Interviews in 2026 feel like humiliation rituals; apply to this position at your own risk.
