I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at KPFF (Los Angeles, CA) in Apr 2015
Interview
Phone interview with project manager and HR representative. Very straightforward and probably 20 minutes in length. Primarily personality and general coursework questions. The interviewers were very cordial and asked lots of questions that were easy to answer if you have an average civil engineering background. There were a couple questions about stormwater design, but nothing was overly technical.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
How is your understanding of plans?
first round interview was with a recruiter who you could tell was just there to write down answers. No conversation just question and then silence as they wrote. Felt awkward and forced.
