I applied online in February, and I received a phone interview request about a month later. My first interview was 1:1 with a current software engineer at Kabbage. I was given a coding problem to solve on code pad. I was asked about my own experience/projects, and the interviewer was really friendly and encouraging. This first interview lasted roughly half an hour. A few days a later, I got a request for a video call interview. The interview began with some questions on basic data structures and then transitioned to codepad. I was first given an easier coding problem. After solving it, the next task was to essentially solve a more difficult variation of the problem. Then, I was transferred to a video call. I was asked to elaborate on my projects and classes, and I was also asked a few more technical questions. This interview lasted about 1.5 hours. I heard back in less than a week and was set up with a final call (with PeopleOps) to formalize the offer and learn more about the position. Overall, I had a great interview experience. Everyone I talked to was kind, welcoming, professional, and passionate about their work. I'm excited to intern here this summer!
