      Operations Analyst Interview

      22 Aug 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Columbus, OH
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kahiki Foods (Columbus, OH) in Mar 2019

      Interview

Short phone interview then an extremely informal, awkward, in-person interview with a TV on in the background and people eating lunch around the interview area. I've had more formal minimum wage job interview settings. Second part of the in person involved standing around the manufacturing area with heavy machinery and loud noises in the background. I understand that this is what the position's work enviornment would be like but it is extremely strange to conduct an interview for a desk job in the middle of it. Third part involved a sit down with a higher up in manufacturing that was the only normal part of the interview. Overall, the interview really turned me off from the company but unfortunately it doesn't stop there. A month later, I actually received an email addressed to someone with a completely different name than mine to my email stating that I didn't get the position. This email was sent by the hiring manager which was again, extremely unprofessional on their part. If you're looking to attract strong talent I highly recommend stepping up your game in terms of being professional.
