Kaizo interview questions

My application was shortlisted for the role, and I cleared 2 rounds to reach the assignment round, and that's where things became weird. I did the work to the best of my abilities, but I got no review, no follow up, no next round scheduled, from the PM - Max. And a generic rejection email, that also arrived after I followed up with HR everywhere. I had been asking for a response after sending them follow up emails for over a week. It was an absolutely appalling experience, and as a candidate I would have serious doubts considering them ever again (and would also recommend the fellow designers to stay cautious, in case they're fishing for free work through case studies and assignments).
