The process started with the scheduling of the interview; they were very accommodating. The interview took place virtually with two members of the hiring team. It was a mixed, open-ended question asking what I've done or would have done in certain scenarios, mostly like a conversation.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Kalman & Company in Feb 2025
Interview
Had a first round Zoom interview on a Friday with 3 people at Kalman, which went smoothly and they gave me a cost analysis case to complete, and said I would hear back soon. They said there were no right answers, and I found the case very straightforward, regardless. I sent it back that Sunday, and did not hear back until I followed up after two weeks. I was given an automated message that thanked me for applying to "[PositionTitle]", but I had not been selected. I found this to be highly unprofessional behavior on Kalman's part, especially considering I had to complete a case for them which they said I would receive feedback on, and considering someone would have had to seen my follow up email, and did not care to even correct the boilerplate language in their rejection prompt.
