I applied in-person. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Kaplan (Mountain View, CA) in May 2015
Interview
On-site with a back-and-forth question and answer session with the Director of Operations, their QA tester, and the content team lead. This was followed by two pair-programming sessions where I worked on a story from Pivotal Tracker with their database admin and on a different story with one of the other developers on the team. The final part was a question and answer debrief with the Director of Operations.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Kaplan (Bengaluru)
Interview
It was pathetic. One of the interviewers was mediocre and was approachable but the manager in the states was downright terrible. They put me on the waitlist until they found people who would be cheaper to hire based on their budget. Responses were slow, they barely cared for quality and were just winging it.
