I had Karat round through the coinbase company. Interview format like this: 7 min- Introduction 10 min - Api Design. 43 min: 2 DS, Algo quesy I got rejected, But i have few feedback on this. Feedback i received is that designing skills are very poor. I am not sure how someone can evaluate somebody's designing skill in just 5 min? In this 7 min, he explained the question in 2 min and then i needed to design in 5 min. Please be aware that if you ask any question then you are wasting time, as timer is on. Interviewer was constantly reminding me that your time starts now, 2 min remaining, and then 1 min remaining. There is no good or bad design, unless you discuss it. Design is not a mathematical equation where you just need to solve the equation and give the output. Coinbase might loose some good candidates (not me) due to Karat. I will not ever recommend Karat.
