I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Keen Decision Systems (Fort Thomas, KY) in July 2025
Interview
During the first interview, I was given an overview of the interview process. The first two interviews went well, but by the time I reached the final interview I was completely blindsided. I had been told that the final stage would be a culture fit conversation. Instead, it turned out to be an extension of the technical interview. I had not prepared for, or expected, this change.
The interviewer said, “You did really well in the previous interview, but I need to see it for myself.” This raised an immediate concern. It made me question whether the team trusted one another and why the process had not been aligned internally.
As someone who later accepted an offer at Keen and was terminated only three months later, this became the first of several clear red flags about the company’s organization, communication, and overall consistency.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Keen Decision Systems in Oct 2021
Interview
I was contacted by a third-party recruiter who worked on behalf of Keen in October 2021. After 2 months and 4 interviews with the hiring manager and C-level executives, I finally was rejected. Based on the info gathered from the interviews, the internal operations are chaotic and disorganized, which is odd considering it's a ~50-person company at this point. Glad I didn't pursue this. For a supposedly nimble startup, they sure dragged out the process. It'll be interesting to see if they can find the purple squirrel they're apparently looking for.
