Interview
Average interview process for the Rancho Cordova office, specifically. A red flag for me during my 2nd interview was when the interviewer bluntly said "Given your qualifications, I hope you wouldn't be bored in this position. This is entry level." I know the sort of job I applied for, I needn't be reminded or even talked down to for my qualifications. If they felt I was overqualified, why bother reaching out? Did they not review my resume before this interview?
Toward the end of the interview, they told me that someone would reach out to me in the next week, regardless if they were or weren't interested in hiring me.
It's been about a month since my interview and no word. Finally emailed them as a follow-up and received a cold, informal automated rejection email.
I understand that the economy has created an employer's market but that's no reason to both ghost me following the interview process & belittling me during the interview itself.
The interview started out with a quick introduction. Then, the interviewer asked character-based questions followed by technical-based questions. At the end, there was room to ask questions to the interviewer.
