I am applying for a temporary to permanent position from a recruiter reaching out to me. I was interviewed for a permanent position instead of a temporary position by the level of questions. After fifteen minutes on the same subject, I asked about their experience. None of the interviewers had any experience. At the end of the line of questions, I feel they want to learn how to perform the task themselves instead of hiring.
I feel sorry for whoever gets the role that was underpaid by $30,000 to be a contractor under management who has no idea how to manage the task they are requesting.
The interviewing team took no time to read my resume, and we had several awkward moments in the interview. At the end of the interview process, you get a generic email from no-reply. Thank goodness I didn't get an offer; I would have to take the offer or risk losing unemployment.
In the future, I hope they do a better job vetting their candidates, as it will save everyone time.
