I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Kentucky Marketing Solutions
Interview
The first interview lasted about ten minutes with the "CEO" Caroline Avent. She basically asks generally questions about your experiences and education. The second interview lasts from 9:30-5:00 pm. Be prepared to walk a lot. You shadow an account manager for the entire day. Be prepared to get told no and business owners being annoyed with you. It was like a glorified salesmen for office supplies. Not exactly a marketing position in my book. At lunch, they explained the compensation which is strictly commission with a $150 check for training. You have to visit at least 40 small businesses everyday and beg them to buy office supplies from an online retailer. You pay your own gas and everything. I was offered the job and declined the offer.
