I thought it Went super well. Superior was nice and we talked quite a bit about the position. Overall good experience Interviewing with the company. Shared a lot about experiences and expectations.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kids2 (Atlanta, GA) in Feb 2022
Interview
1. HR interview for general questions
2. Cross-functional team interview, questions related to Data Warehouse, SQL, Dashboard
3. Case interview - Problem you're trying to solve, Example data you used, Visualization of the insights.
This was the shortest weirdest interview I’ve ever had. I hopped on the call and within less than 5min the interview was over. The only question asked was why I was looking for a new role. I answered honestly saying I was looking for a more flexible work environment (ie remote or hybrid) and the guy interrupted me and immediately said this was not going to be a good fit and then proceeded to tell me all about their hybrid work schedule. He said that it was too fast paced and that I would need to be taking calls at 6am with India and then 9pm with London and how this role was not as flexible, even tho he told me all about the hybrid schedule. It was weird and honestly the guy seemed unimpressed from the moment I opened the video call. I declined to proceed because I felt like I was going to waste my time. Don’t post saying the job is hybrid and then waste my time to tell me the hybrid schedule you have isn’t “flexible” enough for me. Weird and bad vibes all around.
We appreciate the feedback. Kids2 believes in transparency. That starts at the beginning with the interview process and being clear on expectations of the role.
