I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Kings County District Attorney's Office
Interview
I applied online, and it took about a month and a half from submission to receiving an offer. Typically involves four rounds of interviews: an initial phone screen, a panel interview with three individuals, an interview with a higher-up from the executive office, and a final interview with the District Attorney. But it's sometimes condensed into three rounds. I went through only three rounds: the phone screen, the panel interview, and the executive office interview. Throughout the process, two questions consistently came up: “Why do you want to become a prosecutor?” and “Why specifically Kings County?”

Interview
The interviewer logged in late, asked very few questions, and hung up abruptly. They mostly seemed concerned about being understaffed and finding anyone willing to fill a role in the early case screening section.
