It was a personable experience by a very engineering focused company. A recruiter reached out to me via Linkedin and then through phone to learn about my experience. Once he decided that my experience is a good match, I was asked to come into the office to do a collaborative coding exercise with two of their engineers. I was tasked with refactoring and debugging a program. Passing that round I was given a small full stack project to do at home which I took around 10 to 12 hours to complete. Then I was invited back for a final round interview consist of a coding challenge, talking with several engineers, a product manager, and their engineering director. In my experience, interviews tends to fall on a Friday and there's a chance at the end of the day to join their company wide update to get a glimpse of what is it like to work there. The recruiter who initially reached out to me followed up with me throughout the process to make sure that I know what to expect as well as give me updates very quickly. After the final round there is actually one more round to meet with Andrew the CEO before an offer is confirmed. I did another coding challenge during that talk and had the chance to ask him a lot of questions to learn more about the company and its culture.
