I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at KnowBe4
Interview
After I submitted my application the hiring team reached out about two weeks later. I was emailed a questionnaire to fill out and submit. Then waited a few days until they reached out for a phone interview, I was immediately asked to come in for a face to face a week later.
The on-site interview was a panel style interview with the recruiter and an HR rep. It lasted about 40 minutes and ended with a tour of the facility.
They reached out a few days later with a generic email stating “...we’ve made a decision not to move forward with you...”. But no reason as to why. I emailed back thanking them for sitting down with me and expressing interest and asked the recruiter if she could provide feedback. It’s been almost two months and I’ve yet to receive any feedback or reason why they I was not offered.
I understand that their workload maybe a lot and they’re probably processing a multitude of applications. However, it doesn’t take much time to provide some feedback. As hiring manager that is part of your role and also part of delivering a positive experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time where you had a goal and you failed to achieve it.
Thanks for the feedback. Many times there is not a specific reason other than stronger candidates interviewed at the same time. Customer Success Manager is one of our most competitive roles and we frequently turn away individuals that are qualified but not as strong as other applicants.
