After months of applying for this recurring position at the Koch careers website, I was finally granted a phone interview. This hour-long interview left me feeling positive, and I was contacted the next day to schedule an on-site interview. This interview was with 6 people and lasted 3 1/2 hours. I aced the behavioral and other standard questions, but the situational questions were difficult on the spur of the moment. They said to take my time thinking about the answers, but I still felt rushed. After it was all over, I was led to believe that I was what they were looking for and I left very hopeful. After no communication from them, I called and was told I was not selected. When I asked for feedback, I was told that while I have the skillset and experience they were looking for, my inability to answer several situational questions made them determine that adapting to the "Koch Culture" would be too much of a learning curve for me. Needless to say I was shocked and disappointed that someone else can determine my ability to adapt to a given environment.
