I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kohl's in July 2018
Interview
Applied, was emailed back a few days later to set up an interview. Interview went great, and I was hired on the spot. However, the hiring process itself is long and frustrating. After the interview, within a week you will receive a request to fill out paperwork online, and then receive an orientation schedule a week after that. However, the orientation set up was texted to me and the link does not work. Contacted Kohl's Career helpline but to no avail. I am now looking to decline the offer and find work elsewhere because it is an unnecessary long process.

Interview
They called me into an interview after a few days online. They asked me only one question and then said they would hand it off to their corporate office based on their needs.
It was simple and quick to get to know you. They asked why you’re interested and if you have customer experience. He offered me the job verbally after the interview but I never saw it come. A few days letter I got a letter saying I wasn’t selected. I’m not petty type or mad but please don’t do prematurely offer someone a job when you just started interviewing and you still have 8 other interviews after.

Interview
Responded quickly to set up a video interview. The interviewer was very friendly and easy to talk to. Seems like they were really looking for good personality types to fit with their emphasis on good customer service.
