I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Kohl's (Wilmington, DE) in Dec 2022
Interview
The first red flag was that once I checked into customer service and told them I had an interview, I stood there for 40 minutes waiting for someone. Once she came over she asked if I was the interviewee and I said yes, then she asked how long I had been standing there waiting, and once I told her how long, she made a face at me like it was my fault. Finally, get into her office and the whole time she was hiding her snarky laughs behind her hand after everything I said, I didn't even think anything I was saying was even remotely bad. Even after that, she continued to criticize me telling me that I would seem useless in her store because I was "too precise", not only that, but she had already threatened to fire me despite me just being at the interview. Said that she was handing me the offer and to check my email, but even still no email was received. Wasn't like I was going to accept the offer anyway after that.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1

I applied online. I interviewed at Kohl's (Las Vegas, NV) in Sept 2024
Interview
The interview was very short and extremely weird the questions that were asked didn’t have to do about my work ethic or past experiences. I was interviewed for a part-time beauty advisor at kohl’s and many questions had to do with asking me if I wanted to go to college for beauty, if I was looking into starting a career in the beauty industry, what type of cosmetology is my favorite, and how would I try to prevent someone stealing. For a part time position I didn’t understand why I was being asked so much about attending school and not about what I can provide with my retail skills and my past job experience.
Phone Interview was short with scheduling for my first interview with the Kohls. After that, I then came back in to meet the Sephora manager for my final interview. It went smoothly. I was informed of both kohls & sephora training requirements.
